About Tomas
Tomas Clifford (he/him) is a Perth-based composer/lyricist, cabaret artist, and music theatre performer. With over 10 years of experience, Tomas is passionate about storytelling through music, and values new work in the Australian theatre and cabaret landscape.
Tomas debuted his original musical-cabaret, Tomas Clifford Got Stood Up, at FRINGE WORLD Perth 2025, where it achieved critical acclaim and took home the highest accolade of the festival, the Martin Sims Award. The show then was brought back by popular demand for a one-night-only encore performance in May 2025 during the Perth Comedy Festival.
In 2024, Tomas presented a workshop performance of his original musical, The Crocodile, with plans to develop this work further in the future; and in recent years, he has been a featured writer/performer in Home Grown showcases around Australia, and in multiple Perth International Cabaret Festival “UpLate DownStairs” variety shows.
Whether he's behind a piano, or backed by a full band, Tomas Clifford is an exciting new voice emerging in the arts, and an entertainer through and through.
